You know the hardest worker, giving more while everyone else goes strictly by the book? The one who stays later to make sure projects are done. Who is always kind and courteous, The nice one. Maybe you will recognize her / him here, the one always overlooked or seemingly forgotten. You certainly don’t do it for the glory or to get praises, you do it because it has to be done.
Sometimes you have to toot your own horn, give yourself your own promotion, your title may say clerk but in your heart of hearts you know you’re the real CEO.
I can’t promise if that is a lifetime burden, or that someone or a company will come along that recognizes all that you have to offer and afford you your just due, but I can assure you that You. Are. Not. Alone.
And as invisible as you may feel day after day, know that somebody sees you. That somebody is me. You are no longer invisible, you are appreciated, you are cherished and most importantly, you are seen!
